The Thursday Edition:
On October 14th 2005, the gray block design was replaced by a gray LCARS look-a-like design. STNET was also rebranded to “U.S.S. STNET – The Future in Star Trek”.

All the content was transferred to the new site. STNET continued its mission, now as a Intrepid Class Starship. Collecting as much as possible Star Trek information.

But 3 months later, the ship (site) experienced some very difficult problems. The complete site was built on the Adobe Flash technology. This had a great impact on website performance and browser compatibility. Changes had to be made to continue the existence of STNET as a website.

The team worked many hours to complete a basic redesign of the website. 70% of all Flash parts were replaced by standard images and some color was added to the design to make it more alive. May 2006 was the release date of this update to the website.

Only one year later… (tomorrow the Friday edition)
