The Saturday Edition:
By now we have entered the year 2007. STNET was still going and also one of our personal favorite segment of the site, called: “Weekly-Picture”. As the name already states, every week STNET released a different picture that was: The Picture of the Week.
The first picture was released on Week 28th of 2004. Voyager inside the life form nebula, from Season 1 Episode 6: The Cloud. Star Trek Voyager – Weekly-Picture, went on for almost a year, when Star Trek Enterprise came more to the foreground.
In 2005 (Week 26), “Star Trek Voyager – Weekly-Picture” was renamed to: “Voyager and Enterprise – Weekly-Picture”. From this point on STNET released one week a Voyager picture and the upcoming week an Enterprise picture.
This went on until week 12 of 2007, when STNET – The Intrepid Database website was released. The Weekly-Picture segment was renamed to: “Intrepid Weekly-Picture”, releasing only Voyager related pictures.
The last picture was released in week 32 of that same year. Picture: Voyager ready for takeoff on the Demon-planet (Season 4, Episode 92: Demon). “Intrepid Weekly-Picture” was officially archived in week 38.
This segment still has a place in the hearts of the STNET team. A return of this segment is still on our radar. The problem is implementing this in the current website. Keep a close look on our BLT Reports for the latest information on the “Weekly-Picture”.
