Final Frontier Media.nl to be Discontinued

On December 28th, 2025, the domain finalfrontiermedia.nl will officially be taken offline. With this step, the Final Frontier Media name will fully conclude its journey as a separate web domain, while its legacy continues elsewhere.

Final Frontier Media has been closely connected to STNET (stnet.nu) since 2022, following a longer transition that began several years earlier.

A Look Back

As announced on October 28th, 2018, Final Frontier Media became part of the W-Bench family. At that time, the original owner, Sebastiaan van Mierlo, and STNET reached an agreement to transfer Final Frontier Media and all of its content.

The goal was to keep the project future-proof. Rather than maintaining two separate platforms, it was decided to merge Final Frontier Media into STNET, creating a single, sustainable source for Star Trek–themed content.

Over the years, nearly all Final Frontier Media content has been carefully transferred to the STNET database, where it remains available today. Star Trek fans can still enjoy the well-known Star Trek themed music videos, which are primarily listed under the Media section on STNET.

Why the Domain Is Ending

With the content fully integrated and Final Frontier Media no longer operating as a standalone brand, maintaining a separate domain is no longer necessary. Ending the domain allows for a clearer structure, reduced maintenance, and a stronger focus on STNET as the central platform.

A Thank You

From everyone at W-Bench and STNET, we want to once again express our sincere thanks to Sebastiaan van Mierlo for the passion, creativity, and dedication he put into Final Frontier Media over the years.

While finalfrontiermedia.nl will disappear as a domain on December 25th, 2025, its spirit and content live on — under the STNET label, where it continues to be enjoyed by Star Trek fans worldwide.
