A removable section of the hull allowed it to be mounted on the stand included with the set.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"799\" height=\"494\" src=\"https:\/\/stnet.nu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/voy_45inch1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10442\" srcset=\"https:\/\/stnet.nu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/voy_45inch1.jpg 799w, https:\/\/stnet.nu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/voy_45inch1-300x185.jpg 300w, https:\/\/stnet.nu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/voy_45inch1-768x475.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 799px) 100vw, 799px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Playmates Toys<\/strong> took on the&nbsp;<em>Star Trek<\/em> action figure license in 1992 with the first post-Galoob wave of&nbsp;<em>Next Generation<\/em> 4.5&#8243; toys &#8211; each came with a host of accessories, sized for the figure to hold while reenacting epic space adventures. The <a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/1953HL3\">first line of&nbsp;<em>Voyager<\/em> figures<\/a> arrived with the show&#8217;s premiere in 1995, and featured each of the main cast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While the line sold well enough for a second wave of figures in 1996 &#8211; featuring <a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/18q3umh\">Joe Carey<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/12XL6sX\">Seska<\/a> (as a Bajoran), a <a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/112057R\">Vidiian<\/a>, a <a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/13APHQQ\">Kazon<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/1brYpKy\">Chakotay in Maquis clothing<\/a> (from &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/voy.trekcore.com\/episodes\/season1\/1x01\/index.html\">Caretaker<\/a>&#8220;), and a <a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/15L13oD\">full-Klingon B&#8217;Elanna Torres<\/a> (from &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/voy.trekcore.com\/episodes\/season1\/1x14\/index.html\">Faces<\/a>&#8220;) &#8211; the line did not continue past that year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Future&nbsp;<em>Voyager<\/em> figures were grouped under the generic&nbsp;<em>Star Trek<\/em> titling, including all Seven of Nine figures, an <a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/13mCgZl\">evolving Tom Paris<\/a> (from &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/voy.trekcore.com\/episodes\/season2\/2x15\/index.html\">Threshold<\/a>&#8220;), <a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/13mCnnC\">Security Officer Neelix<\/a> (from &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/voy.trekcore.com\/episodes\/season3\/3x21\/index.html\">Before and After<\/a>&#8220;\/&#8221;<a href=\"http:\/\/voy.trekcore.com\/episodes\/season4\/4x08\/index.html\">Year of Hell<\/a>&#8220;), and several other releases.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"552\" height=\"803\" src=\"https:\/\/stnet.nu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/flashback_janeway.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10443\" srcset=\"https:\/\/stnet.nu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/flashback_janeway.jpg 552w, https:\/\/stnet.nu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/flashback_janeway-206x300.jpg 206w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 552px) 100vw, 552px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"436\" src=\"https:\/\/stnet.nu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/projections_barclay-1024x436.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10444\" srcset=\"https:\/\/stnet.nu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/projections_barclay-1024x436.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/stnet.nu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/projections_barclay-300x128.jpg 300w, https:\/\/stnet.nu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/projections_barclay-768x327.jpg 768w, https:\/\/stnet.nu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/projections_barclay-1536x653.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/stnet.nu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/projections_barclay.jpg 1667w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>A handful of limited&nbsp;Voyager figures were released over the next few years as well, including a version of Janeway from &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/voy.trekcore.com\/episodes\/season3\/3x02\/index.html\">Flashback<\/a>&#8221; (as a mail-order exclusive), and the infamous <a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/12yWeN4\">&#8220;1701 Barclay&#8221;<\/a> from &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/voy.trekcore.com\/episodes\/season2\/2x03\/index.html\">Projections<\/a>&#8220;, which was released in a run of only 3,000 units. 2002)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>An annual tradition dating back to 1991, the&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/14imKzv\"><em>Voyager<\/em> line<\/a> of&nbsp;<strong>Hallmark<\/strong> ornaments lasted just a bit longer than the series itself. 1996&#8217;s&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/15pgTFk\"><em>USS Voyager<\/em> model<\/a>, 2000&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/1bLkzpJ\">Borg Cube<\/a>, and 2002&#8217;s&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/18mMIkw\"><em>Delta Flyer<\/em><\/a> featured illuminated internal lighting and built-in audio to recreate authentic moments from the series; they were sculpted by Lynn Norton.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The three crew ornaments &#8211; 1998&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/151C1mf\">Captain Janeway<\/a>, 2000&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/1brUpK9\">Seven of Nine<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/12KvgWo\">The Doctor<\/a> from 2002 &#8211; by Applause (1996)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Applause, Inc.<\/strong>&nbsp;released several highly-detailed ceramic mugs featuring the faces of&nbsp;<em>Star Trek<\/em> actors from all of the series &#8211; though curiously, a Picard design was never issued &#8211; and their&nbsp;<em>Voyager<\/em> selection included Captain Janeway, Neelix, and a generic Kazon. Luckily, two oversized books released during the&nbsp;<em>Voyager<\/em> series run serve well as supplemental works to that lackluster publication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/1dx4dzg\"><em><strong>A Vision of the Future &#8211; Star Trek:<\/strong><\/em><strong> Voyager<\/strong><\/a> by Stephen E. Poe begins the&nbsp;<em>Voyager<\/em> story from a series of secret meetings between Rick Berman, Michael Piller, and Jeri Taylor, and follows the show&#8217;s development through the two years of planning and pre-production that went into the formation of the show with eyewitness accounts of Genvieve Bujold disatrous performance as Captain Janeway, and the budget-blowing reshoots required for &#8220;Caretaker&#8221;&nbsp;after the studio couldn&#8217;t decide which hairstyle best suited Kate Mulgrew.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The well-researched book contains dozens of interviews with everyone from the art department to the cast and production staff, and even the Paramount security guards tasked with keeping uninvited guests off of the sets &#8211; along with several full-color, exclusive photos from the construction of the&nbsp;<em>Voyager<\/em> sets in the early days of production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Highly recommended.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"250\" height=\"300\" src=\"https:\/\/stnet.nu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/action1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10459\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em><strong>Star Trek: Action!
